It is getting warm in Portland. I have stayed here for almost 6 months since I came. Everyone had been back to Japan I mean students who spent a half term to study English each overseas University. I am the last person who was sent from my university to Marylhust university, however, I can face to difficulties last 4 months.

In March there are some events in Portland. I let you know one of famous holiday in America. Do you know “St. Patrick’s Day”? St. Patrick’s Day is a holiday from Ireland. People wear green things like clothes, hat, socks, and so on. That day Irish bars have a party for St. Patrick’s Day. I saw some people who wore green hat in Downtown. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take a picture of it and join the party. If you have an opportunity, I recommend you join an Irish party in America.

Back to Breaking time. After Final exams, my cousin came to Portland! I showed downtown Portland and walked around. I spent a lot of time with her and, we went Seattle by ourselves just my cousin and I. I have been there twice, but we thought and decided to visit a lot of place that we want to go and we have never been. As a result, Seattle trip was very exciting for us. You know, Seattle has many famous places such as Pike Place Market, Space Needle, the Great Wheel, SAFECO Field and so on. Of course, we went there but also we went Suzzallo library at University of Washington, Bainbridge Island, Fremont Troll, Olympic Sculpture Park, and so on. Also, we ate seafood at a restaurant which is popular in local. Sometimes we were confused bus systems. It was completely different Portland’s one and Seattle’s one, but it was good to know about it. Anyway, it was really nice opportunity to go Seattle with my cousin.

On April 3rd, my last term has begun. Fortunately, I passed all exams, so I got new classes this time. Also, I’ll take service learning as well. To be honest, I am a little bit afraid that I could enjoy service learning. I know it’s a good opportunity to contract people, but I don’t know why I feel so that. And I was recently thinking that what I can do for last moment and what I should do THIS final term. Maybe the cause is the time I should leave Portland is coming nearby, but I stopped thinking about it because it doesn’t matter for me. I just do my best as much as possible until I leave here. Anyway I have to enjoy this term. No. I MUST! I don’t want to regret anything for studying and for playing.
