Study hard weeks

Feb . 2017
It’s getting warm even though it rains outside. In January, the weather was really bad and school was closed because of heavy snow. I had like a small vacation. However, I didn’t do anything and I couldn’t go outside. It was boring! After a small vacation was over, I finally went to school. My classes are more difficult than last term. To be honest, I made light of this term classes. I stay in the library to study assignments and prepare a presentation after school. Although I get a lot of homework, each class is really interesting. For example, I learned present perfect, past perfect, future perfect and so on in grammar class. In addition I memorized academic words from UEFAP.
This week I took mid-term exams. They were really difficult for me! I fully realized my lack of vocabulary because I didn’t understand some words on paper. I think it is my challenge to memorize vocabulary. Meanwhile, I did presentation about varieties of English. When I researched differences between American and British English, I was really excited and interested in it because it is my major! I realized that I really like my major and am proud of it.
Recently, I joined Chinese New Year’s party at a hot pot restaurant and Happy hour in the pub. We talked a lot and enjoyed. Also we welcomed a new Korean roommate who stays just one month. I had a lot of events in this month but I really sorry about I didn’t do activities in school. Right now I would like to approach my goal as soon as possible, so I concentrate what I should do.
In February, my university juniors will come to PIA. I am so looking forward to meeting them and I hope they enjoy one month program in Oregon.
