It was passed 10 months since I came here, Kingston. It is very worm outside, I feel summer is on its way. Kingston doesn’t have a rainy season, so I miss rainy season in Japan a little bit.

I am researching an urban poverty in India and education now. These are my essay topic. The reason why I chose them is that Indian is the second-populated country, nevertheless, the half of residents live below the poverty line. Most of them live under 1.25 dollars a day. That’s a serious problem. In addition, I have been to India almost a year and a half ago. I felt keenly the gap between the rich and the poor. Causes of poverty are lots, so I’m focusing on an urban poverty in India. I think education is one of the keys to solve this problem, but so far I don’t have enough fact and knowledge about connecting between them. I need to read articles about that more.

Recently I started to review my vocabulary to get high score in TOEIC after going back to Japan. It’s not for TOEIC. In terms of writing, using academic and pertinent vocabularies assists having my essay much information. I am trying to remember all vocabulary from AWL(Academic Word List) and the most frequency words (1~3000).

Only 2 months left. I’ll give it a try.
