It has been about seven months since I came to Kingston, Canada. There is only one month left in this session. March is expressed in here, “March comes in like a lion, and goes out like a lamb.” This is because the weather of the beginning of March is cold and also has lots of snow and blizzard, but on contrast, the end of March is warm and gorgeous. Therefore, March is explained like a lion and also lamb. I like this expression because it’s very March.

I went skating behind the City Hall with lots of my friends. I realized my skating skill became much better than before. Enjoying winter sports here was one of my dreams, so I was glad to come true my dream. But inspire of Canada, I regret not to skate on the lake. I wish I could skate on the lake. I want to do someday hopefully.

At the beginning of my study abroad, I could not understand well what my teacher said. But now, I can enjoy a conversation between my teachers and me, and the teachers who are in Queen’s School of English are all excellent and good at teaching English. I am glad to be able to study here with my good teachers and classmates. I will never forget meeting them here for good.

Recently I enjoy watching movies and dramas with English subtitles. My friend who is from Korea and I share Netflix, so I can watch some movies and also dramas any time I want. I need to study Academic English to get high score in TOEIC, but I can learn it in my school. However, casual conversation skill is actually needed to live in Canada. So I decided to use Netflix to learn it. When I was in Japan, of course I used Japanese subtitles. Then I focused on reading subtitles, and I didn’t listen to English at all. But now, I can hear some words in movies and dramas even if there is no subtitles. Watching whole movies are sometimes tough and difficult for me, but it’s more challenging.

Time is more valuable than money. I will do my best until the end of this session.
