It has been about five months since I came to Kingston, Canada. The temperature here sometimes winter temperatures drops to minus 20 degrees Celsius. But I enjoy this winter here!

My second session started last month. In this session, I have 16 people in my class including me. They are from Korea, Brazil, Quebec city, China, Saudi Arabia and Japan. All of them have a good motivation to study English, so they always give me a good effect. I really appreciate them and I am glad to study English with them.

The most difficult thing I feel in this session is an English pronunciation. Sometimes I cannot tell somebody what I want to say correctly because my pronunciation has Japanese accents. There are many nationalities in my class, thus if I cannot pronounce clearly, some students don’t understand me. Now I am thinking about the importance of exact pronunciation again. I regret a little I should have studied an English pronunciation harder when I was a freshman in my university. However recently I feel my pronunciation skill becomes better then before because I always try to pronounce English words exactly.

Last week I watched the skating show behind the City Hall in downtown. I have watched the skating show before, nevertheless it was amazing and fantastic. This show was held outside and it is pretty cold that day, but I was impressed with the show.

The period I can stay here became less then half a year. “Time is money”, I want to let my rest of the time be valuable. This session I am going to try to write some essay. To write good essays, I need more vocabularies and many expressions. I’ll try to read many books during break week, and I want to prepare for writing essays.
