海外留学レポートReport from Overseas

The snow days!!!

Feb . 2019

Hello everyone! How’s going? I hope you are taking a good time. Three days ago, I just finished my midterm exam. As you know, my class became level4, and it is combined with level 5. That’s why it is a little bit difficult....but it good studying for me!!Anyway, my life is harder than last term, but I’m still enjoying my American life. In this report, I wanna share my current life: school life, friends, and snow days. Let get started!!

First of all, I wanna talk about my school life. This term is very small class, and every student is pretty closed. We spend a lot of time together, and everyone remember name each other. Also, we get extra activities with our teacher. For example, almost every week, we go to restaurants such as Japanese Izakaya restaurant and Chinese hot pot restaurant. My teacher drive for us, so I don’t have to worry about my bus, lol. Next time, we are gonna go to Arabic restaurant which is recommended by my Arabic Friend. So, I learn some difficult culture as well as English. As you know, this term is so small. That’s why I feel some missed about my friends, but because of this plans I’m enjoying my school.

Now, I wanna focus on my good friends. So far I came here, I have hung out with my friends who are one of my best friends in here. We are especially good friends in our school. Because we are good friends, I’m so sad now. She will go back to her country next Thursday. Also, almost my friends who are good friends for me in the last term go back to their countries, so I’m getting sad now. But I hope I can make other friends on this term and next term. It is hard for me to say good bye my friends, but I think we are still good friends even if we live other countries. Also, I hope someday I can visit their countries and see them.

Until last week, Portland had been warmer than Japan, bat now it is colder than Japan, and we have snow! It was first time for me to play with snow in US. Today, I made kamakura with snow! I was crazy for making kamakura, and I was very inmature. Actually, it is for my host kids, and I can’t go inside of it because it is too small for me to go inside. However, it was special experience for me, and I hope I can play with snow again. Fortunately, it is snow next couple of weeks, so I think I can!!!

Anyway, I still enjoy my American life, and I try to get more skill of English especially Speaking & listening. Next month, my winter term will be finished, so I hope I will can tell you my skill get better then this time.

Thank you for reading my report and see you latter!!!!
