Happy New Year!!!! How was your winter vacation??? Did you hvave a good time in your vacation? I hope you did. My vacation was full of happiness and, I was always happy! So,this time I’m ganna talk about my wonderful winter vacation and my new term!!!

At first, I’m ganna talk about my wonderful winter vacation! I went to Los Angeles on Dec24 to 30 with Karen and Chloe who is my Korean friend). What do you imagine about Los Angeles? It has many good places for visiting such as Disney Land California, Universal Studios Hollywood, Melrose Avenue, and of course Hollywood! I went to Disney Land on Dec25 and 26. There are many people in there because Christmas season. It’s mean we should wait more long time than regular season. Actually, the longest time we waited was more than two hours. Most attractions had long waiting time. If we didn’t wanna spend time for waiting, we had to buy express pass, but we didn’t have enough money. One time, we made mistakes we lined on express, of course we didn’t have pass, and we thought we should line again in normal pass line. But the Christmas miracle happened! A employee who stood in the entrance of the attraction passed us into the gate and she said “happy merry Christmas “. We were so surprised and really appreciated to her. I was so happy to ride without long waiting time, but I was hapier to kindness of employees than that.  This gift was the best in my life!!!

Next our plan was visiting to Melrose Avenue, Griffith Observatory, and Hollywood Avenue!! We ate hot dogs at one of famous shops, went to some vintage shops, and enjoyed views in Melrose Avenue. After that we went to Hollywood Avenue for watching stars of famous people. My impression about there was very similar to Broadway in NY.

Next day, we went to Universal Studios Hollywood! It has many impressive attractions. The best one l did was Studio Tour. We could watch the backyard in Hollywood studios and some 4D movies. It was amazing!!! If you go to there, you should try it! It must make you excited, I’m sure. 

I spent almost one week in LA, but l felt like only two days. I had really good time, and l wanted to stay more. If l have a chance and money ( it is most important. lol), I wanna go there again. Oh!!!! If you go to there, don’t forget they have a high tax. I was so confused because Portland doesn’t have a tax lol.

Now, I should talk about my new term. Fortunately, I could be a next level! My new term is very small classes. For example, my writing class has only two students including me. I think it is pretty good for me because my teachers can pay more attention to us than last term, and I can ask my question to my teachers anytime. But sometimes it’s kind a stressful for me because I’m always nervous for attention from my teachers. I hope I will be more relaxed by time passing. Also, my class become difficult and I have many homework every class because some classes are combined with level 5. It’s mean I have to study more hardly. I decided to take more time to study for school!! Anyway, l try to enjoy my winter term even if it’s difficult for me, and I effort to be level5 in next term.

I left only seven months when I can stay in here. But I have still many things to do and many places to go in here. I’m ganna be carefully for using my time!
