海外留学レポートReport from Overseas

Spring!!!!!

Apr . 2019

Hello ~~everybody!!!! How was your spring vacation? Did you go to see cherry blossom? - yes I did!! Lol I went to downtown Portland to see cherry blossom. I hadn’t known that there was cherry blossom in US until the time. That’s why I was super excited and surprised. American people also enjoy seeing cherry blossom and they eat lunch under the trees. It just looks like Japanese Ohanami!! So, in this report, I’d like to talk about my special spring vacation and new term!!

As I talked above, I went to see cherry blossom. I went there with my host mom, sister, and brother. Me and my host mom wore kimono. Before the day, we went to kimono school and we learned how to make Otaiko. That’s why we tried Otaiko to go to ohanami!! I had thought otaiko was super difficult for me, and actually I couldn’t make it before the lesson. I hadn’t expected I learned about kimono in US, so I was excited and surprised. In US, I learned a lot of American culture, but I also learned Japanese culture. Before I came US, I tried to learn about our culture and introduce it. However, my studying was not enough, I thought I had have better research about Japan more deeply.

Anyway, on this spring vacation, I enjoyed Japanese culture. Also, I went to my school five times by walk, and went to gym. During spring vacation, weather condition was pretty good, so I did much exercise and study for spring term. I didn’t trip anywhere, but my vacation was full of fun!!!! I’m really satisfied with my vacation.

Also, last week, my last term in PIA was started. I become level5, and my service learning class was also started. Therefore, my life is much busier than last term, and I always tired of my assignment, lol. However, I have already stayed in US more than 6 months, so I caught some tips for studying. That’s why I think quality of my assignment is getting better than before.

My time in US is getting short, so I have to be more serious about my learning, and enjoy my life with my friends and family.

I hope I can tell some interesting experience on next report.

Thank you for reading, and see you later!!!
