海外留学レポートReport from Overseas

My last report in Canada

Apr . 2023

Hello everyone!!!
I’m so sad that I say hello to you guys last.

On April 6th, I’ve finally graduated from QSoE. I’ve got 3 certifications for the most dedication to the activities and volunteer. I was so glad that I’ve got 3 certifications except for completing my course.
I really appreciate all people I’ve met in Canada. They always motivated me not to lose my opportunity to gain many meaningful things. Also, I’d like to say thank you to my host family. They encouraged me to acquire English all the time, took me to many things, taught me about Canada, and met many wonderful people. That experience is my treasure forever.
Through this studying abroad experience, I could feel my growth and, of course, my English skills. At the beginning of going to Canada, adjusting my lifestyle and taking classes every day from day to night was hard. In the middle of studying abroad, I gradually got used to living in Canada. In the last semester, I had a thing that I could feel my growth. That is I don’t have to translate Japanese into English in my brain. When I realized that, I felt so confident. In the discussion class, I was able to discuss quite a difficult topic with my classmate without translation.

I had many irreplaceable experiences in Kingston for about 7 months. However, these months have passed so fast that I felt like just 2 months. Actually, I didn’t want to go back to Japan. At the same time, I’m so excited that I could do many things in Japan after coming back to Japan. I’d like to tell my wonderful experience in Canada to younger students in my school.
I will never forget these experiences from now on. Incidentally, I’m going to go back to Canada one day. I’m going to improve my English as well.

I’ve visited many places in Canada and the United States. I’ve visited Montreal, Quebec, New York, and New Jersey. By the way, I went to Niagara Falls by myself. I was so proud of myself because I could go to foreign sightseeing spots by myself. That was my last trip to me in Canada. This was so amazing and I felt huge natural power. I would say Niagara Falls if someone asked me your most recommendation of sightseeing spot in Canada.

I’m going to grow as a person and improve my English communication skills. In addition, all the amazing moment in Canada is valuable in my life. I want to say thank you so much to my family in Japan because they encouraged me to survive in Canada when I was having a hard time.

Thank you for reading my last report at the end!!!
Thank you for everything!!!!
