Happy New Year, everyone!
This is my fifth report from Canada.

First, I am going to talk about my wonderful Christmas memories. It was my first time to spend Christmas in abroad. Actually, there was a heavy snowstorm on Christmas Eve, so my host family and I were worried about our Christmas plans. Fortunately, the weather got much better, and we had a great time together. For example, we went to the church and exchanged our Christmas presents in the morning. I got a lot of them, such as snacks and small bag. Also, we got a special dinner with my host mother’s family in the evening. Christmas was a very important event for Canadian people like Japanese New Year, so we had a kind of busy day. However, I had a lot of new and fun experiences here, and they were unforgettable memories for me.

Next, I would like to talk about my Montreal day trip. Actually, my host family gave me a ticket of Cirque du Soleil as a Christmas present, so I went to Montreal to watch it with my host mother and host grandmother. Cirque du Soleil is a very famous and popular circus group all over the world, which is based in Quebec. Their performance was very amazing, so I was impressed.

Finally, the winter semester has started on January 9th. I moved on the new class, and I met some new teachers and classmates. This class is more difficult than last class, but I have been having a good time with my new classmates. I have only 2 months left to stay here, so I would like to value the time left.
