Aloha! This is my forth report. Thank you for reading. I’m almost halfway through my time in Hawaii. November 22th was the national holiday which is called Thanksgiving Day. I had two Thanksgiving dishes in my school and former homestay house, both were very delicious. What impressed me the most was a question my former host mother asked me; What are you thankful for? I answered “my family.” I rarely think about them very much in Japan because we’d lived close each other. But now, I really understand how my parents care about me even live other country. In short, it was a not only meaningful day but also special day for me. Secondly, I’ll share what’s going on in writing class and listening & speaking class. In writing class, we are doing Timed Writing. This is a writing practice which focus on writing opinion paragraph within 15 minutes. Topic is based on TOEFUL.I receive a feedback after submit my paper, my paragraphs need more thesis statement. I edit my sentences again and again so that it becomes persuasive.

 Moreover, I had 2 types of oral test in L&S class. Tests contains pair conversation for 4-6 minutes, and presentation for 2 minutes. Topic was chosen by randomly, I’ve done 2 test so far so good. Although I’d took a conversation class in Japan, sometimes conversation was stopped because it was difficult to answer even 1 question. I feel I come to keep conversation longer.

 Finally, I joined a Honolulu marathon volunteer on December 8.About 15000 people participated this marathon. Most participants were from Japan. This volunteer was mainly about medical communication. I was in terms of recording that injured person’s information in English. Since this job needed to record patient’s conditions as quickly as possible, my vocabulary were increased more efficiently. 3 days left until this semester will be finished. I’ll keep studying not to regret fall 2 presentation and exams.

PS: Let me talk about these pictures a little. I really like these pictures because lunch at Disney Aulani was pretty good. The reason the most I want tell you is my clothes and Pluto’s one shows exactly opposite season!
