Hello, everyone!! I will share my memories of America. First, on November 9th, I participated in UNDOUKAl for JSA event. JSA is Japanese Student Association, so a lot of Japanese people and people who like Japan participate in JSA e vents. At the UNDOUKAI we were divided into four teams and enjoyed ball tossing, tug of war, relay games, and three l egged races. I was blue team and I enjoyed talking to team mates who were first meeting. Even though my team came in last place, we had fun. Second, on November 15th, I joined badminton club at University of Portland. I became friend s with people who I met first time through badminton, and I was able to spend a very rich and fun time with them. Next, on November 17th, I went to basketball game with my friend. This game was held at Moda center and was a match bet ween Portland and Atlanta. It was a close game, 112-110, With Portland winning, and it was a very exciting game. It was fun to watch sports in America because there was more cheering than in Japan. Then, on November 23rd, I went to ska ting with my host family and a former PIA student. It was my first time meeting this woman, but she was a very positive and cheerful, so I had a lot of talking with her. I also enjoyed skating. Finally, on November 24th, I went to Multnomah FaIls with my friends. Multnomah Falls is a very famous waterfall in Portland and a place I would like to visit at least once, so I was glad that we were able to together. My friend drove us to the base of the waterfall, and then we all walked to the top of the waterfall. I had never climbed to the top of a waterfall before, so I had very fond memories. November was a very happy month as I went to various places with many people and made new friends.
