I’d like to share about my graduation ceremony. I graduated from the Summer 2024 EAP on August 1. I received the Merit Award and Gold Award for achieving an average mark of 80% and participating in many activities. When I graduated, I had no regrets and didn’t feel that my time as a QSoE student was too short because I worked hard and cherished every day.To be honest, before going to Canada, I thought three months would be too short to learn English and experience the culture. However, I actively participated in events and created opportunities to talk to people in English. I now believe that the duration of time isn’t as important for improving English skills. What matters more is being proactive in learning and understanding different cultures. Even though every day wasn’t always happy, I became stronger by facing and overcoming many problems.
I’m going to San Francisco to do volunteer work for three weeks, so I’m really excited about gaining new perspectives through the volunteer experience and communicating with people in San Francisco.
