I’d like to share my wonderful memories. I went to Seattle with my classmates from Germany, Saudi Arabia, Korea, Chin a, and Japan and teachers from PIA. Our teacher drove a van to take us from school to Seattle. We had a great time along the way, enjoying music and talking to some people for the first time. On the first day, we went to Sky View Observatory, Pike Place Market, and downtown. We enjoyed beautiful view of Seattle from the Sky view Observatory Deck. What l enjoyed the most was spending time with the members who were riding in the same van. After looking around Pike Place Market, we ate lunch nearby clam chowder shop. It was very delicious. We went to the first Starbucks. I was surprised because the design and color were different from the logo that everyone knows now. We went to buffet style restaurant for dinner. Then, my Chinese friend told me that people in China often eat boiled dumplings instead of fried dumplings. I was very surprised because in Japan, fried dumplings are more popular, and Chinese restaurants often have them as well. At night, we all played UNO. It was an interesting discovery that Japanese rules and Korean rules are different.
On the second day, we went to the University of Washington campus, Kerry Park, Fremont Troll, and Seattle Center. We went to the University of Washington library, and it was so spacious and beautiful, it looked like a library in a movie. In Kerry Park, we saw autumn leaves and a beautiful ocean. I was healed. We took pictures with Fremont Troll and looked at souvenirs at Seattle Center. I enjoyed the trip to Seattle because I was able to get to know my classmates better.
