Hello. Three months have passed since I started my study abroad. Summer has begun in Australia, with temperatures sometimes reaching 40°C which make me exhausted every day. I successfully graduated the first 10 weeks of school and have begun my new 10 weeks in a new class. I’ve made some new friends. The level of my new class is a little higher than my last one, so I’m listening carefully in class and working hard on my weekly tests. I’ve had many opportunities to discuss things with my classmates in class, and I feel like my English has really improved. The other day, I went to Cockatoo Island as part of a school program. I learned a little about Australian history there. On my day off, I enjoyed shopping in the city with friends and went to beaches. The other day, I finally went out to eat Japanese food! It was delicious, and I shared my recommendations with my friends. Japanese food is very popular in Australia, so I’m happy. Christmas is almost here. This will be my first summer Christmas, and I’m really looking forward to it!
Hello! New Zealand is getting hot. Because the sun is strong.so many Kiwis wear sunglasses.
This time, I would like to write about my school classes. On Mondays and Tuesdays, I study English, focusing on grammar. On other days we learn idioms, pronunciation, etc. But We speak with our classmates everyday through some activities. I have more opportunities to speak English than to write it.
When I was in Japan, my classes were mainly focused on learning English by writing. At first, I couldn’t understand or say anything, so it was very difficult. But little by little, I’m starting to understand. I’ll try harder and do my best to be able to speak like my classmates.
In class, we learn proverbs, tongue twisters, famous places, etc., from other countries. It’s a lot of fun because we can have international exchange through class.
