2 months have passed in New Zealand, and my course will finish 1 week later. At the moment, summer is coming, so everyday is over 23 degrees.

The later of November, I passed the test, so I have leveled up but only for 2 weeks. I leveled up 2 times in 2 months. Every time I changed the level, I felt the high degree of difficulty with things such as vocabulary, the textbook and conversation. It has been only 1 week, but I have confidence in my English and I can claim my opinions actively because before in the class, there were many conversations.

 On the 23th November, I went to the Henderson Night Market with 5 Koreans and 1 Thai. There were many stalls, and we ate many foreign foods. It looked like a festival in Japan, so I felt homesick and missed.

On November, I went to the theater twice with my Chinese friend. It didn’t have subtitles, so it was difficult to listen and understand the movie.

Late December, I will go to the beach and look at the sunset and stars on a school activity. I can’t wait!!

 It is important for me to hang out with my friends and go somewhere, but I mustn’t forget the goal of studying abroad. So, I think that I have to consider about my future after I go back Japan.

 

ニュージーランドに来て早くも2カ月が過ぎ、私のコースも残りあと1週間となりました。こちらでは季節が夏に突入し、日中は２３℃程の暑い日が続いています。

　１１月後半のテストでは無事にパスすることができ、たった２週間だけですが上のレベルになりました。最終的に２カ月で２度レベルアップしたのですが、レベルが上がるたびに単語やテキスト、会話の難易度が高くなっているのを感じます。まだ今のクラスになって１週間しか経過していないのですが、前回のクラスで会話の時間が多かったおかげで、だんだんと自信を持つことが出来る様になり、自分の意見を積極的に主張できるようになりました。

　

１１月２３日には韓国人５人とタイ人１人の友人とHenderson Night Marketに行きました。大きな駐車場にたくさんの屋台があり、様々な国の料理を食べました。雰囲気が日本の夏祭りと似ており、少し懐かしく感じました。

また１１月には、２度中国人の友人と映画を観に行きました。字幕がなく内容を聞き取るのがとても大変で、普段先生方がどれだけ気を使って話してくれているのかを感じ、もっとリスニング力を上げたいと思いました。

１２月の後半にはスクールアクティビティでビーチや、夕日・星空を見に行く予定なのでとても楽しみです。

 

　他国の友人と遊んだり様々な経験をしたりする事ももちろん大切なことですが、留学本来の目的と目標を見失うことなく、帰国後（特に就職活動）の事について、残りの留学生活でもっと真剣に考えたいと思います。
