I have been spending amazing summer days in here Kingston. There has a few rain, unlike Japan has many rain during this season. Therefore, I feel difference a little bit. I think it is more comfortable to spend the time than in Japan during the day.

I had a break week during this month. Most of KGU students who are from Osaka and have been staying since this session went to NY; however I had spent most of the time in Kingston. It was not too bad to stay in Kingston, because I had spent pretty good time in Kingston. And I went to Toronto with my host mother. She asked me to go a rock concert that she loves in Toronto. Fortunately, she got a prize for two tickets of the concert from the radio that she always listens to, so we could get good seats to see the concert. I’m so glad to spend great time during the break week.

In my class, what I often do is reading articles which are more difficult to understand than reading my text book. It is because there are a lot of technical words that we do not use often. However, I thought that in the future I need the ability to understand articles that are from such as newspaper so that reading from the text book is not the goal that I should aim. In addition, reading fast is also important, because in any situations, we cannot take long time to read one article such as some kind of tests. Therefore, I will try to read as fast as I can, and I would like to improve the ability more.
