My Australia life has been almost half a year. It was a surprisingly short time. I can’t imagine that I’m going to go back to Japan few weeks later.

These days, although I tried to focus on the lectures, I had lost my ambitious to study at college. One of the reasons is that I can’t finish this course, so I don’t have to get high marks on assignments. Another reason is that my best friend graduated from college, so I feel a bit bored. I know they are quite ridiculous reasons but it was really important for me. However, my best friend always encourages me to learn English. Therefore, I got back my motivation to go to college and study hard. I think I’m super lucky because I made friends with good person like her.

Recently, I went to the Taronga zoo with my friend. It was my first time to see koalas and kangaroos in Australia. We took a ferry to go there. The weather was pretty nice, so I enjoyed it very much. Of course I enjoyed looking around the zoo. On March 3rd, I went to the Mardi Gras which is the gay and lesbian festival. There were many people in the city, so I couldn’t see the parade clearly. Additionally, it was rainy day. I hope I can go there again someday.

Compare six months ago with now, I think I greatly grew up. When I take a bus or train, I used to listen to the music or radio. However, nowadays, I try to catch a native speaker’s conversation. It’s quite difficult for me but really good practice for listening to English. I can learn useful words and sentences.

I have only few weeks to stay in Australia. I’ll definitely miss here because my Australia life is really awesome and my friends are also nice. I enjoy rest of my Australia life.
