The winter session has started since just this middle of January. My class is higher level than that I took the class last session. There are five Saudi Arabia, one Chinese and two Japanese including me in my class. I think all students have high skill of English; they can speak, write and read well. It makes me little nerves. Because it was not really easy to understand all of lesson, I realized that I’m learning vocabulary and grammar and listening are academic English. My teacher told me that my biggest problem is that I’m thinking in Japanese yet. It was true that I’m thinking in Japanese and then translate to English. I understand that thinking in Japanese make reading slowly. In fact, I always slow to read compare to other students. All I can do is just thinking in English. For example, every time thinking in English as talking to myself, reading more article as fast as I can and talking more. These are what I leaned in this session so far.

On the other hand, my life in Canada has been amazing. Although I have some assignment such like essay, reading novel, exercising grammar and vocabulary every day and so that I could not go to the activity sometimes, I have great of time in Canada. That is because I have spent a lot of time with many students who came from several countries which are China, Korea, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, and Canada…etc. It is very interesting to discover many cultural differences. And a thing that I like Canada is this country is multicultural. I often see people who might come from another country when I walk around Kingston. I think that People who live in Canada are very acceptable more than Japanese. I’m really appreciated that I can study such a nice country.

It has been winter season in Canada! I must experience Canada winter. Next weekend I’m planning to go ski with some of friends. It would be fun and good experience.
