London & Edinburgh!

Mar . 2020

Hello, guys! It's almost half a year since I came to the UK, and this means I’ll go back to Japan about three months later. Even though I was able to make a lot of friends in Liverpool, some of them have already gone back to their countries. That’s why, I often remember happy days with them. Though I feel a little bit sad when I think about it, I still enjoy my daily life in the UK.

At first, I’ll talk about my trip in London. I went to London with a Korean friend in three days and two nights last month. Actually, it was the first time to go to London since there was far from Liverpool. We went many places such as Westminster Abbey and King’s Cross Station. Although we couldn’t take pictures in Westminster Abbey because there was banned it, there was very beautiful. And, King’s Cross Station is one of famous places for Harry Potter fans. When we arrived at the Harry Potter Shop in the station, my friend was very excited because she liked Harry Potter very much. Maybe as you know, my first picture is London Eye. We went there at first night and in next afternoon. In addition, we were able to watch Big Ben. Even though Big Ben was under construction, I was happy to watch it since it was a model of some Japanese animation. We enjoyed this trip and after that, she returned to Korea. I miss her but we promised that we will see again in Japan or Korea before she came back to Korea. So I’m looking forward to meet her next time in our countries.

Second, I’ll introduce my trip in Edinburgh which is one of central cities in Scotland. Although I went to Scotland for the first time, it was a long journey since I took a coach about 5 hours one way. In addition, I climbed Arthur’s Seat with my new friend who is from Brazil. We weren’t able to stand up on the top because a really strong wind nearly blew us off our feet. By the way, my second picture is Palace of Holyroodhouse. We didn’t go inside but it looks so nice, you know?
