Happy Holidays!! How did you spend your winter vacation! I spent very pretty holidays. Do you prefer Christmas or New Year? Which one was more fun this year? I enjoyed Christmas more! So, in this month report, I’m gonna talk about my Christmas!

 At the first day of winter vacation, I went to Peacock Lane. Probably everyone doesn’t know where it is. It is a street name but it’s not normal street. What makes it different from another street? It is called “Portland’s Christmas Street.” All houses that located in the street were decorated with shining Christmas illumination!!! The scenery was so beautiful!! I sometimes see houses with illuminations in Japan, but that was the first time I have seen so many illumination houses! According my friend, the people who live in these houses signed a contract to decollate their houses in Christmas, when they bought their houses. When I hear that, I was so surprised! The first my picture is one of house in this street. They were interesting and beautiful.

 The day after finish school, I traveled to meet my friend to Los Angeles!! The friend also lives in the US to study. She has been a good friend since elementary school. We met after a long time. It’s in the US!! How interesting!? She guided me to Los Angeles. We went to Santa Monica, Hollywood, downtown Los Angeles, Anaheim, and Beverly Hills! The all was fun! In addition, we went to Disneyland! I love Disneyland so much, so going to a foreign Disneyland was one of my dreams. My dream came true! We could ride almost famous attractions. It was so fun. My next dream is going to all Disneyland in the world!! And also, the temperature of Los Angeles was higher than Portland, so it was comfortable for me. This trip was awesome!

I went to some state for this about four months, but in my opinion, Portland is the best place to live. I hate cold and rainy…., but it has many good points, for example, it has good transportation, not too dangerous, and shopping tax is free. I like here. I can stay only more about one month. I want to enjoy more here!
