Everybody, Happy New Year!! I hope you have great time in this year as well. I'm energetic as usual so don't worry.

I finished the study at AIS on December 20th and I had summer holiday for two weeks. Most my friends have finished the study at AIS and then they graduated from AIS. As they went back to their country, I miss them and I'm really sad. But, the encounters are my precious memories so I want to keep them in my mind.

To change the subject to summer holiday, I went camping with my host family and their relatives. I had many experiences that I've never done before. This is my highlight of the summer holiday so I'd like to talk a lot about that. But it's so much that I can't talk my experiences at all and therefore I chose two subjects about those. First one is about my best memory of the camping . It is that I could watch a shooting star for the first time in forever ☆彡 I heard someone saw shooting stars twice in a day so I tried to watch a shooting star at nights. The second night in camping, finally, I could watch a shooting star when I watch starry sky. It's really fleeting but so beautiful. I felt as if time had gone slowly. And second one is about my funniest memory of the camping. It's that morepork call me back all the times when I copied their cry. They misunderstood my copy is similar to their cry and that was touching and cute!

I think every memory is precious and important for me coz I believe they make me grow up. At least, it's exactly they are no waste for me.

 

みなさん、新年明けましておめでとうございます。今年も皆さんにとって素敵な一年になりますように ：)  今年は年越しそばも食べす、お雑煮もおせち料理も食べない年末年始を過ごしましたが、 相変わらず元気にしているので 心配無用です。

去年の12月20日に学校の授業が終わり、約 2 週間の夏休みを過ごしました。ほとんどの友達がこの日に学校 の課程を修了し、卒業しました。彼らはそれぞれ自国に帰らなければならなかったので、別れるのがすごく悲しかったです。特に仲良くしていた韓国人の友達もその1人で、学校で会った時は あまりにも切なくて お互いに ハグしながら涙を流しました。別れはつらいですが、彼らに出会えたことはかけがえのない思い出なので、その思い出を心の中に留めておきたいと思います。

話題は夏休みに変わりますが、この夏休みの半分はホストファミリーと彼らの親戚と一緒に キャンプに行きました。1 週間です。そこでは今まで体験したことのない事ばかり経験することができて、すごく有意義な夏休みになりました。 お話したいことはたくさんありますが、あまりにもたくさんあるのでその中から 2 つご紹介したいと思います。まず1つは、キャンプでの1番の思い出についてです。 それは人生初 流れ星を見ることができたことです。ある日、誰かが流れ星を一日に2回見たという話を聞いて、私も流れ星が見たくてたまらなくなりました。2日目の夜、流れ星を見るために星空をじっくり眺めていると、2時間後にオリオン座の下で流れ星が流れたのを見ることができました。流れ星は本当に儚かったですが とてもキレイでした。まるで時間がゆっくり進んでいるように感じました。そして、2つ目は面白いエピソードです。Moreporkという鳥 がいて、私がその鳴きマネをすると本物のmoreporkが私の鳴きマネに対して必ず返事をしていました。どうやら、私の鳴きマネがすごく本物にそっくりだったらしく、鳴きマネに勘違いしているmoreporkたちがとてもかわいらしかったです。

どの思い出も私を成長させると信じているので、これらの思い出は私にとってとても貴重で大切なものになりました。少なくとも、どの思い出も無駄なものは1つもありません。このような素敵な経験を与えてくださったホストマザーに心から感謝しています。
