Hi, everyone! It’s already March, and almost 6 months has passed since I came here. Wow, I’m surprised at how quickly time flies, but it means I have been busy. I was exhausted last month because there were a lot of assignments as the mid-term approached. I didn’t go somewhere to play, so I am going to write about only my school life on this report.

 There were 3 kind of presentations as the mid-term assignment, and the hardest one was survey presentation about electric cars. I had to conduct survey interview of minimum 20 people about their views on electric cars, and they should be local Canadian. To be honest, I couldn’t achieve the number. I asked my previous and current host family, their friends and neighbors, but it was not enough. Preparing my presentation was harder than conducting interview. This is because answers on the interview varied from person to person. I didn’t know how to describe clearly within a limited time, but at first, I built a hypothesis and I gave priority to few things according to my hypothesis. I didn’t have confidence until I finished the presentation because I thought it’s too simple. Moreover, I was afraid whether my way of thinking was right, but I got higher score than last presentation. I felt relieved, and I’ll have my own way. When we are praised, we gain confidence, right? Definitely, I’m a that person. By the way, would you like to have an electric car? Do you think it suits with your lifestyle? Even though electric cars are improving, they are not close to people yet because they have some disadvantages. I think it takes a long time to they become popular, but I hope they spread among people in the future.

Presentation is not easy, and sometimes it makes me upset. However, it’s the best way to evaluate my English for me. I can find my improvement and weakness. Also, I’m getting used to taking in public little by little, so I appreciate this opportunity. There are more academic assignments in remaining six weeks. It might be tough for me, but I can be strong. Just try my best.

After finished all my assignments, I had enough rest. I was so happy, and I never felt bored for just lying and taking nap on my bed. This is my favorite. I didn’t do anything special on my break week, but I’m considering to trip to Cancun, Mexico before I back to Japan. I present about Cancun as my budget destination on the other assignments. I know how much Cancun is beautiful, meaningful and mysterious. It’s incredible. If you want to experience tropical atmosphere, Cancun is the best destination and exotic gateway. You’ll never regret, I promise. Oh, I really want to go there. You might check about Cancun after finished reading this report. I’m sure that you’ll be convinced by too beautiful beach at first. At last, I made Japanese white stew with my host father. I was living with my family in Japan, and I don’t like cooking, so I worried about the taste. But it was so good more than I expected. My host family also liked it. Happy Happy! I put picture of it. It doesn’t look good though.
