I want to spend the rest of my time in Canada efficiently.
Apr . 2013
These days, the weather has been getting warm like a summer. I felt there was no spring in Canada since the temperature rose suddenly. I usually wear T-shirts during the day time ,and a suncream and sunglasses became absolutely necessary for me to protect my skin and eyes from the sunshine.

We finished the winter session on April 11th, so since then we have been on vacation until on May 10th . I've started to share a house with six Canadian girls since on April 26th. They are so kind , and the house is really close from the campus, so I'm very happy to live here. However, sometimes it's tough to understand everything what they say because I feel their talking speed is faster than my host family who I used to live with, but I'll do my best to get every meaning. At the same time, I was really sad because I had to leave from my lovely host family even though this is my decision. I was able to experience plenty of precious things with my host family, so I really appreciate them. We are still in same city, so I'm sure to visit them someday.

During this vacation, I spent time with my friends. I went to Toronto, Montreal,Ottawa and Picton Island. It was the first time for me to go to Picton Island though I could not swim at that time as water was too cold. This water is a part of Ontario Lake, so it's not salty even if it looks like a ocean. If I have a chance to go there again, I want to swim definitely. In Ottawa, I was able to see the Tulip Festival, and it was awesome. My favorite place to see tulips was Dawes Lake. I could see not only many kinds of tulips but also the beautiful lake. I've been to Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa once, but I found out something new about each city. I think this is one of the benefits to travel different places. On the other hand, I also brushed up my English what I learned. I usually utilized websites that I used in the winter session to review. Also, I sometimes used text books.

Finally, spring/summer session will begin the day after tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to seeing new students and class. In this session, I'm going to go to an elementary school as a volunteer at least once a week. I want to get a job using English and with children, so it's a good opportunity for me to communicate with Canadian children. Therefore, I try to do my best both a school and a volunteer.
